FILM
My most recent project, 'Claws & Clause: A Fashion Film’ is an Artist Moving Image piece that critiques the relentless cycle of trend-driven consumerism, while also showcasing fashion as a powerful medium for artistic expression. The film uses animal print as a central motif, once a symbol of bold style, now a victim of overproduction and mass appeal, to illustrate how fast fashion and micro trends can strip the industry of its value and originality. Blending archival footage, high-fashion editorial imagery featuring actress Yasmin Zara, and original poetry co-written by the director and myself, Claws & Clause offers a visually rich and thought-provoking exploration of fashion’s evolving cultural role.
Although my main role was Cinematography, I worked on various key aespects of this film alongside Director Libby Doyle, such as co-producing and editing. The collaboration throughout production was extremely successful, and therefore I am very proud to say I took on a leading creative role which helped bring this film to life. Enjoy!
